Numerous wise people of India, as well as the world, have said that education enlightens all the internal humanitarian and divine virtues of a person, and prepares them to help the prosperous society. To fulfill this purpose of education, a proper educational system is required. It should be kept in mind that the education which will build the students as a helping body of the society, should not oppose the character of the society. Education never fails to provide for scarcity in society. Today, every layer of society is suffering from words like corruption, unscrupulousness, extremism, etc. Where our society is lacking basic morality? Because from childhood, attention was never paid to the manners which help the pupils to flourish with strong and respectful characters. But without these qualities not only acquiring humanity is impossible, but enlightening the world is also not viable.

"Sarada Vidyamandir (High School), Naxalbari" run by Naxalbari Sarada Shishu Teertha is a necessary and important educational institute to contribute to the deficiencies of our present society. With this educational ideal, we try to develop our students with all-round qualities like excellent physical, vitally, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual consciousness, who will be dedicated to the service of the nation and will be capable of tackling every problem of the modern and future society. The ultimate goal of the Vidyamandir is to develop these qualities among the students.

Currently, around 25,000 such educational institutes starting from primary to university level are running under the national educational agency "Vidyaharati". The provincial society of Vidyabharati in North Bengal is running around 125 such schools.
